Fighting for CIvil Rights

Make sure you can explain how people fight to overcome inequality. Martin Luther King is a prime example that you can easily incorporate into Section B

The Good Samaritan

Make sure that you know this parable; its an easy one to use to show that you understand Jesus' thoughts on people from other countries, this can be extended to include multi-cultural society in today's modern world.



You can use this for other units too so long as you can explain how it fits in.

Women in the Church

It was only in the mid nineties that women were allowed to be ordained as vicars in the Church of England; this was highly contraversial at the time and even today some people still think this is wrong. The Roman Catholic church today still does not allow women to be ordained.

Look at this clip from 'The Vicar of Dibley' and note the arguments for and against the ordination of women.
